Recreation

There are numerous opportunities to get outside in good weather to exercise and socialize.

• Golf: At least half a dozen golf clubs in the area provide challenging courses and after-game relaxation. In particular, the Morgan Hill Golf Course is directly adjacent to The Legacy at Morgan Hill, meaning you can play any time without fighting traffic and crowds.
• Walking, hiking and biking: The Delaware and Lehigh National Heritage Corridor passes through Easton offering great trails along the river for all sorts of outdoor activities.

Shopping

Several malls around Easton include a variety of shopping. Three malls featuring major department store chains such as Macy’s and Boscovs as well as a variety of specialty stores that are nearby. Downtown Easton has seen a revitalization in recent years and now features shops selling clothing, jewelry, gifts and collectibles.

Check out the Easton Record Exchange to find long-lost albums full of high-school memories. Galleries showcase the work of local artists and restaurants run the gamut from snacks and desserts to casual and fine dining. 

The Easton Farmers Market takes place every Saturday from May to November - and throughout the year there are concerts and festivals to enjoy. 

Education Opportunities

If you crave some intellectual stimulation, there are several colleges and universities in the Easton area. You can take non-credit classes, online classes or go back to school to pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree. Northampton Community College, Lafayette College and Lehigh University are just some of the nearby institutions. 

Health and Fitness

In addition to the outdoor recreational opportunities in the area, Easton is home to several fitness centers. LA Fitness offers a range of classes, a pool, spa and sauna. At nearby St. Luke’s Hospital the Health and Fitness Center includes exercise, conditioning and health programs targeted to the needs of active adults.
