But if you’re not a home contractor, the floor plan may just look like a bunch of lines and numbers to you. If something doesn’t make sense or if you can’t see how it all comes together, ask! Floor plans and blueprints are almost like a second language; you may have to ask someone to interpret them for you.

The Building Process

Again, if you’ve never had a home built for you before, there may be a lot that’snew to you. It’s alright to ask your builder representative about what goes on when. Make sure you understand what happens and in what order. That can actually save you a lot of stress during the process.
