As you know, our company is dedicated to giving back to the communities in which we build! This past fall we made a generous donation to Amsterdam Elementary School in Hillsborough, NJ, which enabled the school to purchase a rock climbing wall for the gym!
The rock wall was installed in the fall and is being enjoyed daily by the children. “The rock wall not only brings excitement to gym class, it also teaches the students new agility skills and builds their confidence as they traverse across the wall,” states Christine Battagliese on behalf of the Amsterdam School and Home Association. Past donations to the school include Country Classics building a brick enclosure for a new sign the school had received and a Kiln. Amsterdam Elementary is home to 520 students in grades K-4. Country Classics continues to support projects at the middle schools and high school as well.
Excellence Past, Present, Future
This past October we celebrated our 25th anniversary, and our mission has remained clear since 1988, “At Country Classics, we strive for excellence within ourselves, as a team, and as a company. Our goal is always to have satisfied homeowners, living in a community they can be proud to call home.” Country Classics has a long history of providing support to groups and organizations in the community. In the past two years Country Classics has renovated the Annex Building and administration offices of The Resource Center of Somerset. Continual support includes: Hillsborough Rescue Squad, Hillsborough Rotary Club, Resource Center of Somerset, Shannon Daley Memorial Fund, Readington Recreation, Whitehouse Rescue squad, and the Somerset Medical Center Foundation, all located in NJ. Not only dedicated to giving back in NJ, we also contribute to organizations in Pennsylvania as well. Unending donations are made to The Children’s Home of Easton and Lafayette College. These are just some of the donations made on a regular basis on the long and impressive charitable contributions list of Country Classics. Employees of the company also regularly donate to community food banks and to other select organizations during the year and recently supported their fellow coworker, Jackie Mello, and her son who is serving in the United States Navy.
